This is an awesome foot in the door opportunity. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Loan Servicer or an Accountant. Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skill obtained through education and experience to audit, book, analyze, administer and reconcile retail, commercial real estate loans, corporate loans, syndicated loans, and club participation loans. Frequent trouble-shooting of moderate to complex issues, requiring evaluation, originality, and critical thinking skill to apply the appropriate procedures, processes and techniques. Essential Responsibilities: Performs prior to closing audits to ensure documentation is complete and terms meet approved policies and criteria. Communicates and resolves audit expectations with the department manager and account officer. Monitors and manages assigned portfolio of most complex commercial loans. Analyzes the loan terms and regulatory reporting requirements; structures and maintains the loan set up in the system accordingly. Establishes parallel monitoring processes and controls to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Establishes document tracking and reporting. Manages the approval of, and facilitates the daily or more frequent borrowing requests for syndications or construction loans. Performs monthly audit and reconciliation of interest payments, interest accrual and loan terms. Daily liaison with lead bank administrator in syndicated and participated transactions. Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts. Preparing spreadsheets and creating formulas. Hours and Pay Rate: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with possible overtime. Pay rate is open based on level of experience and education.
