JOB SUMMARY




This position is responsible for executing various content optimization tactics for Marriott hotel websites. The Content Analyst will assist the Account Managers, implementing digital marketing strategies that support the natural search room night growth goals and optimal positioning of Marriott hotel websites within search engines. This position reports to the Manager, Content Strategy and ensures quality and timeliness of program tactics.
The Content Analyst position lives within Marriott Digital Services (MDS), Marriott's comprehensive in-house digital services program for hotel websites. This centralized offering provides individual hotels with search engine optimization (SEO) services, and functions in an agency-like model within the Global eCommerce Digital Services organization.



CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education and Experience


BS/BA degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, public relations or related field.
1-2 years of relevant work experience (content marketing, communications etc.)



CORE WORK ACTIVITIES


Managing Work, Projects, and Policies


Coordinates and implements work and projects, as assigned that support overarching Marriott Digital strategies and goals.
Easily adapts to the ever-changing digital landscape to implement new processes and execute on new tactics.
Effectively prioritizes work load to accomplish a variety of tasks for multiple Account Managers for concurrent programs.



Content Management and Execution


Evaluates and reviews content deliverables, like on-site, off-site and marketable content, from in-house creatives, agencies and freelancers.
Reviews content for quality guidelines and standards; manages updates as necessary.
Responsible for the development and execution of creative content strategies across multiple mediums for individual hotels.
Researches and analyzes specific hotels and their locations to provide customized strategies.
Complies with editorial guides and standards to ensure quality, consistency and brand voice on hotel websites.

Supporting Operations



Works with team to execute sustainable work processes that support the Content Center of Excellence.
Employs the project request system and other resources in place to track tactical work for MDS programs.
Utilizes internal Marriott content management systems, as well as outside vendor dashboards and tools.
Establishes and maintains documentation to track progress and completion for content related tactics.



Additional Responsibilities


Attends and participates in all relevant meetings.
Maintains positive working relations with vendors, Account Managers and other Centers of Excellence.
Manages time effectively and conducts activities in an organized manner.
Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by manager.
