Special Inspectors & Testers
We are now hiring several entry- senior level Special Inspector/Testers in the Raleigh/Durham area to work at an established mid-sized firm.
Engineering technicians will be working full-time in the field working on projects within the residential, commercial, and industrial sector.
Primary job responsibilities include:
+ Performing observations, inspections, and tests within the field in regards to soils, aggregates, concrete, as well as asphalt placement.
+ Collaborating and communicating with construction site contractors, project managers, as well as other engineering technicians.
+Exercise the knowledge and ability required to accurately conduct tests in addition to properly documenting findings.
Qualified candidate must possess:
+ A minimum of 2+ years of experience
+ ACI Certification
+ Soils experience
+ Clean driving record
+ Written as well as verbal communication skills
+ Computer Skills
Additional Information:
+ Ideal candidate will have experience within the field as opposed to the lab
+ Recent experience within the Residential/Commercial/Industrial sector is preferred
+ Prior concrete experience is a plus
+ Additional certifications including: NC DOT, ICC, NICET, TROXLER, and/or QMS is also a plus
