COMPANY:

Large Trucking Company is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service agent with Trucking Industry experience to run its Customer Service desk.

JOB DUTIES:

Maintain and build effective relationships with customers
Create quotes for new and existing customers.
Evaluate and respond to customer queries and issues.
Market and promote Premier Transportation services to new customers
Perform customer visits as needed.
Complete annual updates to the Premier fixed pricing program.
Attend and promote Premier at trade shows.

Attention to detail and follow through.

Create truck requisitions.

Interface with dispatchers/harbor coordinator to create accurate logistics and realistic delivery timeframes.

Daily and monthly sales reporting as needed.

Perform operational support at trade shows.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience / Skills:

  • Strong ability to influence and sell new and existing customers.
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Flexible - able to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Detail to accuracy.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts if necessary
