Crown Bolt SUPPORT MERCHANDISER - Full-time / Part-time

Responsible for implementing company standards for appearance and arrangement of merchandise. May coordinate signage for any special promotions. Assists operations with layout to ensure proper merchandise placement and flow. Plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through.

Position Purpose
Responsible for leading the distribution personnel as a team to ensure all safety, quality, packaging, receipt and shipment standards, and operational goals are attained.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
• Performs basic maintenance to displays using pre-established standards.
• Provides follow-up on store reset completions and corrections.
• Performs reset cut-ins and special projects throughout the area.
• Travels to stores throughout the area providing additional support on heavy freight days.
• Assists field management team with special requests for information from stores, survey data collection, product buybacks, etc.
• Conveys product knowledge to associates and customers.
• Supports area merchandisers during planned time and other absences.
• Mentors new hires through on boarding and initial training. Ensures compliance with all company and customer safety standards and procedures.

Nature and Scope
Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct 'customers' of the process.
May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnel

Environmental Job Requirements
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.

Travel Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must pass the Drug Test.
• Must pass the Background Check.
• Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

Education Required

The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience 2 Years

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding
60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending or squatting.

Preferred Qualifications
• 2-3 years of merchandising experience.
• Experience with product placement as well as familiarity with product sales in various store settings.

• Certification is required in some areas.

Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
