Universal Orlando Wardrobe Attendants transform our Team Members from every day to extraordinary. Making sure things are just right will make this transformation a reality for our Team Members and ultimately our guests.



Wardrobe Attendants at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

  • Providing employees with garments and tote bags in a professional manner daily. This process includes providing the service at Universal guest service standards, ensuring that customer slots are full, and noting any exceptions, and completing required duties for assigned inventory responsibility.
  • Scanning and hanging clothes being received from various cleaners daily.
  • Operating a computerized garment tracking system daily.
  • Operating machinery such as washing equipment and name tag engraver daily.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment daily.
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


 



 


To perform the role of a Wardrobe Attendant successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality is a job requirement.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three- syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. 
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.


The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Wardrobe Attendant job. 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to regularly (2/3 or more of time) stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects tools or controls; frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of time) talk or hear; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach with hand and arms.
  • The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).


The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of the Wardrobe Attendant job.  

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly working near moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to: toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock.
  • While performing this job, the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
