Late Afternoon/Early Evening shifts available
Location: Dakota/Scott County
Primary Role: Assist customer with Autism and Behavior Management
Primary Duties:
Example of job duties include (but are not limited to):
-Provide guidance, counseling, and assistance to consumers in their homes in order to reach his/her highest level of independence
-Increase consumers' independence by teaching life skills and activities such as; house cleaning duties, cooking, organizational skills, financial management and self-care
-Assist consumers with planning and participating in recreational activities
-Provide transportation to appointments, recreation programs and work programs
-Maintain documentation, record keeping and participate in periodic meetings/training
-Administer daily medications

Qualifications:
H.S diploma
Experience working with high behavior clients
Experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental illness
Ability to react quickly, excellent problem solving skills, resourceful
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under multiple demands
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR/First Aid
245D training
iPad/Apple software
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Successful clearance of local and/or state background study clearance
Car registration and vehicle insurance to provide transportation for individuals receiving services
Clean driving record
