The Brand and Innovation Finance Team serves as Finance business partner to the Marketing Brand team. Brand and Innovation Finance supports Marketing in brand strategy, planning & forecasting, new product & package innovation, and performance reporting . This role will support the U.S. Beverages Innovation/Incubation Brand Team that focuses on white space opportunities, cross-portfolio packaging, and new-to-world brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Support innovations through Stage Gate process by building volume forecasts, P&Ls and business cases, and identifying key risks
Develop economics for innovations by collaborating with cross functional teams, e.g. Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales and Revenue Management
Develop analysis and define key success metrics to inform business decisions on major innovations
Collaborate with Marketing team to develop Strategic Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan
Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis teams in PepsiCo Bottling Company, Gatorade and Tropicana divisions to track and report innovation performance to senior management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting; MBA a plus
Strong financial acumen and financial modeling experience
Strong problem solving and analysis skills and sound business judgment
Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive cross-functional decision-making
Ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills and track record of building productive relationships
Strong written and oral communication
Passion for consumer products
