The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.

Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Unsecured Credit Risk t eam manages the credit quality of the unsecured CCS portfolios, partnering with Consumer Financial Services, Education Financial Services and Retail Services from origination through account management and authorizations to collections.

The Education Financial Services (EFS) Risk team is seeking an experienced risk management professional to support acquisition risk strategies.

Duties may include:

• Manage complex analysis to assure profitable growth while minimizing credit/operating losses and reputation/compliance risk exposure

• Provide ad-hoc reporting and data mining to support risk projects

• Partner closely with compliance and other EFS business areas to develop risk criteria and propose strategies

• Communicating effectively to senior management as well as auditors and examiners

• Coaching and providing feedback on CAPs

• Review and analyze trends in current customer population distributions and recommend strategies

• Create and present strategy decks to a wide audience including senior management

6+ years risk experience. • Bachelor’s Degree

• Strong SAS and SQL programming abilities

• Clear communication and presentation skills

• Detail oriented

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with challenging deadlines and priorities

• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint

• 6+ years prior credit risk management experience, or combination with other credit or risk position

• Previous experience with credit risk strategy development and implementation
