Sprinkler Fitters

Job Details:

• Installation of fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial and industrial application. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
• Installation or Service Experience on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
• Install and repair both high- and low-pressure pipe systems used in automatic fire sprinkler systems in buildings.
• Work from blueprints or drawings.
• Lay out the job and perform such tasks as measuring, marking, cutting, and threading pipe for installation.
• Connect fittings and sprinkler heads to pipe, then test the system to ensure that there are no leaks.
• This job requires a person with the ability to carry heavy pieces of pipe of various lengths, to use lifts and work at various heights and to have the manual dexterity to handle the tools of the trade.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of commercial sprinkler fitting/piping experience.
• Apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attitude and work ethiAmbitious, go-getter attitude with a passion for the trade and to grow with a great local company.
• Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly
• Capable of performing physical labor
• Excellent communication skills
