About this job

The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the health care team and uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN assesses, monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Basic Qualifications:

Education - Associate's Degree in Nursing,Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2013

Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)*\\\Upon Hire\

Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS,CPR & BCLS)\\\60 Days\

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\\United-Surgery, ICU, EDKelsey-Med/Surg, Surgery, ED\90 Days\

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)\\PALS or ENPC required in ED\90 Days\

Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)\\OB\90 Days\

NIH Stroke Certification\United-EDKelsey-Med/Surg, ED\90 Days\

RN - Chemo Certified – RN (CHEMO)\\Cancer Center\Upon Hire\

Oncology Certified RN (OCN)\\Cancer Center\1 Year\

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience - 1 year of experience in healthcare experience
