CLINICAL TECHNICAL RECRUITER JOB DESCRIPTION

Currently, we are seeking an energetic, motivated, career oriented individual for our Recruiter Opening in our Clinical Recruiting Center based in Parsippany, NJ.

The Clinical Recruiting Center works with our pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients nationwide along with a team oriented group of Sales Managers, Customer Support Associates and others to present and hire qualified candidates for contract and permanent positions. As a Clinical Recruiter, you will be maintaining a high level of recruiting activity, building long-term relationships with candidates & contractors, identifying, screening, and delivering highly qualified technical candidates. Working independently and as part of a team, you will focus on recruiting specific clinical skill sets and develop as an expert within this niche industry. In this role, you will be expected to assist in saturating and growing the clinical market on a national basis.

Qualified candidates for the Recruiter Center position will:

  • Develop recruiting and networking strategies to identify qualified candidates across the National through various recruiting tools.
  • Evaluate candidates strengths compared with clients requirements by, for example, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate.
  • Negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
  • Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests.
  • Manage and build relationships with contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment. Build relationships with field team.
  • Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting best practices and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools.
  • Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and obtain referrals and sales leads.

Qualified candidates for the Recruiter position must:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 0 - 3 years of successful sales/internships/recruiting experience.
  • Experience in a service-oriented business or Outside Sales environment.
  • Technical recruiting Experience is preferred.
  • Possess strong written and oral English communication skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • PC Literate with Widows including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (or similar email application), and Internet Savvy.
  • Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast paced environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
  • A track record for over quota performance.
  • Desire to learn / teach as well as the ability to persevere through difficult situations.
