My client is looking to hire a Maintenance Electrician.This position is a 6 month contract-to-hire. Candidates must be willing to work 45 - 60 hours per week and open to 1st or 2nd shift. Overtime will be mandatory and candidates will stay later on their shift when needed.
Main Job Duties Include:
-Required to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment including mechanical and hydraulic trim, coining presses, forging presses, Fanuc robots, hammers, induction heating, conveyors, heat-treating equipment and compressors.
-Troubleshooting AB PLC's (They do have Siemens, but not required)
-Working with generators, control panels, circuit breakers, starters, switches, conduit and fittings
-AC/DC motors, 480 V
-Must be able to read electrical schematics
-Candidates with a military background are preferred but not required
