Caregivers and CNAs

We are currently looking for caring, patient, compassionate and reliable Caregivers and CNAs who have a genuine interest in working with senior citizens and others in need of assistance.

The ideal candidate for either of these positions will possess the following:

• 1+ years experience in the non-medical in-home care field dealing with seniors
• A love for the senior community
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude
• Good English and communication skills
• A strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
• Ability to perform light housework, prepare meals, run errands, etc. for clients as needed
• Ability to work on an hourly basis, 12 hour shifts (either AM or PM,) or a 24-hour live-in shift for clients needing constant attention (live-ins are highly sought after!)

Visiting Angels would like the best applicants in the Rosenberg- Rishmond area who are willing to assist with personal care, companionship, errands, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping for elderly patients. 

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 2 years verifiable experience working with the elderly and disabled in a nursing home, assisted living, hospital or private duty.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance
• Must have access to reliable personal transportation
• 21+ years old
• Will require TB test in past 12 months
• Ability to return messages within 15 minutes
• Must pass criminal background check
• Social Security Card
• Good English and Communications skills
• A Compassionate upbeat attitude
• Authorized to work in US
