POSITION PURPOSE -

The (CSS) Customer Service Associate's role is to answer calls across multiple locations, coming from customers, installers, vendors and Home Depot Store Associates.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
Quickly responds to the needs of the customers, stores, contractors or installers calling the Customer Contact Center.
Knows who to refer customers, stores contractors or installers to when he/she cannot immediately answer their questions.

NATURE AND SCOPE -
Reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED -

Minimal or no educational requirement for this job.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
Experience as Special Services Associate is preferred
1 year Customer service, call center and/or retail sales experience preferred
Associate's degree preferred

Customer Driven : Provides outstanding customer service (to both internal and external customers); follows through on responsibilities to customers; recovers from any errors made and leaves customer satisfied.
