About this job
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support Manufacturing and Production within a large Manufacturing company in Omaha.
The main focus of the team right now is based around cost reduction of product through design and possibly through material selection and sourcing. The entire product will be touched and potentially designed or re-designed and the client is not looking for one specific area of expertise.
Candidates will be expected to be able to be hands on with product and engineers.
The best candidates for this position will be mechanically inclined and used to working on machinery and product for the purpose of design. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is strongly preferred.
Primary software used for design is Solidworks.
This is currently scheduled to be a 6 month project.
