We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Shipping Auditor, STP.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

  • Audits all materials to be processed for orders
  • Verifies that all correct part numbers and quantity of material matches the pick tickets
  • Ensures that there are no defects in the craftsmanship of the material
  • Ensures that the material conforms to customer requirements for packaging and labeling
  • Photographs all packaged and staged materials prior to shipments
  • Operates forklifts with capacity of up to 6,000 pounds and other equipment such as pneumatic staple/nail gun, banding equipment, stencil machine, digital camera, radial arm saw, chop saw, and shrink wrap machine
  • Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in area of operation
  • Contributes to team effort by communicating and working well with others, as well as accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Interacts with Customer Pick Up (CPU) and LTL drivers ensuring the proper product is loaded and paperwork completed with proper documentation and signatures

Shipping Auditor, STP
  • 1-3 years recent experience working in a warehouse environment, including experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively within all levels of a team environment, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat and cold
  • Must be able to read and interpret shipping schedules, be detail oriented, and demonstrate the ability to identify errors and apply corrective action to remedy the errors
  • Must possess the ability to comply with safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use a computer to enter data into various Sabre systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Ability to read a tape measure to within +/- 1/32"
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
