As a new program within the Village,
Patient Experience is an innovative and strategically important initiative. The
Patient Experience Sr. Director will help develop and lead the implementation
of high priority projects within the Kidney Care business at DaVita HealthCare
Partners. Specifically, they will be the business lead responsible for creating
and implementing a digital and consumer technology strategy that helps people
with kidney disease maintain their quality of life from the time of diagnosis
through kidney transplant.
The
Senior Director will function in a highly visible leadership role at the
forefront of the trend toward patient centered care. The Senior Director
position requires a passion for technology, marketing, and design and is
well-suited to a driven, intellectually rigorous and creative individual who is
looking to put great ideas into action.
He/she will set strategic direction and lead the implementation of a
platform to support a market-leading patient experience
Essential
duties and responsibilities:
Develop and
execute vision for CKD digital products & suite of applications to
differentiate Davita and capture new consumer click-share. Develop
and manage delivery of digital product roadmaps to ensure consistent and
predictable delivery of high quality product. Establish
digital product management strategy, methodology, and organization to
deliver consumer-valued software products. Establish
and execute human-centered design strategy, methodology, and organization
to deliver leading digital consumer experiences. Establish
consumer research strategy, methodology, and organization to ensure
product & design decisions are made on an objective foundation. Champion
digital product strategy and design principles within the organization Develop
human interface design guidelines (design & style guides) Build
out DaVita’s portfolio of digital assets working with technology teams Serve as
the business partner to IT to create a platform that supports strategy Partner
across functions to ensure alignment on goals/buy-in for strategy Develop
a nuanced understanding of patient needs related to digital consumer
technology Work
with marketing to develop a library of amazing content for consumers,
doctors and DaVita teammates Serve as
the external face of DaVita consumer technology efforts

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree in business or health administration
preferred Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in management
consulting, healthcare provider relations, insurance, business
development, or customer experience required Minimum of two (2) years' product management experience
required Strong interpersonal and
leadership skills to build credibility as a "peer” across all levels Personal values in line with
DaVita's values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous
Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment & Fun Product Management skills: ability
to develop product vision, concepts, suite strategies, roadmaps, and adoption
strategies Digital Product skills: Ability
to develop a multi-channel digital strategy and execute through working
with technical teams Digital Design skills: Strong
grasp of user experience philosophy, concepts, and methodologies including
primary & secondary research, information architecture, interaction
modeling, and visual design. No
hands-on digital design required. Technology skills: Working
knowledge of modern technologies & frameworks to facilitate
conversations with technical leadership teams. No hands-on technology work required. Analytical skills: Strong
quantitative background; ability to create detailed financial and
operational models Problem solving skills: Ability
to structure ambiguous problems, think creatively, generate and test
hypotheses Presentation skills:
Comfortable putting together storylines in PowerPoint Communication skills: Ability
to synthesize and convey research/analyses to senior management Management skills: Ability to
drive multiple pieces of work forward simultaneously High energy and ability to work
in a very fast-paced, team-oriented environment Desire to be part of a fun, yet
