Associate Engineer

Experis is seeking Test Technician Associate with Verigy 93k and Lab experience to support a 32bit Microcontroller for the Portable and computing division.

This is a contract opportunity located in San Jose, CA.

Must have experience with Verigy 93k and hand testing chip-scale package (CSP) is very small IC components. Knowledge of basic Linux commands



Test Technician Associate with Verigy 93k - Responsibilities:

1. Testing: support testing of qualification units (mostly manual); running characterization program; collect data and ensure proper data integrity and organization.
2. Bench: support bench characterization run based on the recipe/flow defined by engineers; collect data and ensure proper data integrity and organization
3. General Lab support: ex. perform inspection using high power scope, PCB component soldering/desoldering or repair work as needed, might require to interface with our external service (FA, device, demounting etc.) providers (delivering or picking up parts).
4. Knowledge:
a. Knowledge in running tester Verigy 93k.
b. General knowledge about electrical measurements (voltage, current, frequency etc.)
c. Knowledge about using typical lab equipments (oscilloscope, frequency counter, waveform generator, multimeter etc.) Knowledge of NI system would be a plus.
d. General knowledge about soldering/desoldering PCB components would be a plus.
5. Attribute:
a. Patient, detail/organized and careful
b. Value team work, doesnt mind repetitive type of work.



Bench Support Associate Engineer with Lab experience - Additional info:
Product Engineering Department.
Testing from Design through to release.
Supporting data collection and logging for anywhere between 30-50 devices.
Requires a very careful person with high attention to detail.
Must be OK working flexible hours some weeks less than 40 hours, other week could be 40+ hours.
10 engineers in the department, this person will be the only technician
Open on the years of experience, but MUST have Verigy 93k.
