MFG Shipping/Receiving

We have a opening for a MFG Shipping/Receiving.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is now hiring for a Manufacturing / Shipping & Receiving Assistant 4-6 weeks temp assignment Duties: Move materials between departments: follow routing or tickets to fill orders from storage, stock or other departments. Process production and shipping orders in computerized software system. Unload and store incoming materials: check identification, report shortages or damage, move, store, stack, and arrange. Load materials for shipping in tankers, trailers and railcars: place materials on pallets, trays, racks, etc., install strapping, bracing, or padding. Maintain quality and quantity records of incoming and outgoing materials. Assist with cleaning, janitorial, organization, washing as needed. Responsibilities Include: Collect & Maintain product load samples (raw & finished) Assist with cycle counts and inventory Prepare & load product for shipment in bulk, on pallets and racks General maintenance as directed Operation of forklift, hand truck, dolly and other devices Unloading, moving and storing incoming materials Material identification, damage and shortage reports Moving materials between departments using routings or tickets Materials records Lifting and moving over 50 lbs Additional misc duties as deemed necessary by management Qualifications: *High School Diploma *Related job experience *Microsoft Office Skills: Outlook, Excel, Word *Outstanding Attitude, Work Ethic & Customer Service Skills *Ability to stand; sit; lift and/or move over 50 lbs. *Driver's License with good driving record. *Ability to obtain forklift certification.
