Government Biller - Full-time / Part-time

*Pay is based on experience*

We are currently seeking an experience Government Biller for a Reimbursement Specialist role in the Columbia, MD area.
The Reimbursement Specialist reviews unpaid accounts to determine status, and takes appropriate action to ensure payment specific to Government accounts. Essential duties and Responsibilities are below:

���Reviews unpaid accounts to determine status and taking appropriate action to ensure payment
���Reviews all claims for compliance and completeness for claims submissions
��� Reviews daily billing edit reports for electronic claims
���Contacts payers, via website, phone and/or correspondence, regarding reimbursement for unpaid accounts over thirty (30) days or more.
���Contacts patients as needed to collect appropriate information or to collect patient balances
���Processes and posts weekly revenue
���Tracks and accounts for all changes and amendments to POs in accordance with contract terms
���Assist with Audits as necessary

Qualifications: �� Experience (2+ years) with Government Billing, Accounts Receivables, and/or Collections. Supporting a healthcare contract would be preferred.
��� Knowledge of OB10 services
��� Data Entry skills
��� Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Web-enabled applications strongly preferred
��� Customer service skills required
