Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Pet Assist has been offering quality in-home pet sitting and dog walking services since 2009. We are well established professionals who offer the very best in care for animals of all types. We are currently seeking dedicated, trustworthy and experienced animal lovers to perform pet sitting and dog walking at our client's homes.

We are hiring immediately for Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Milton, Norwood, Walpole, Westwood and Sharon.
A Pet Assist Perfect Fit:

Requirements:
- Dog Walkers need to be AVAILABLE a minimum of 3 hours between 10AM and 4PM M-F (minimum of two days per week)
- Pet Sitters need AVAILABLITY for a CONSISTENT 2 HOUR timeframe, between 6-9:30AM, & 6-9:30pm, 7 days per week
- Be both a dog walker and a pet sitter if you have appropriate availability
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable insured car
- Must have a cell phone (inexpensive prepaid cell phones are okay)
- Must have internet access at least twice a day
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Professional and reliable
- Must live close to the areas we are hiring. We are currently hiring in Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Milton, Norwood, Walpole, Westwood and Sharon.
- This is a year round position NOT a summer job
Benefits:
- Extensive and PAID training
- Eligible for increase to $14/hr. in only 90 days.
- Paid travel time between visits.
- 50% off Pet Assist Pet Care Services for personal use (excludes pet waste removal service). Must live in our service area.
- Greater availability gives you the opportunity for increased earnings.

- Enjoy LEGAL EMPLOYEE status--NOT illegal independent contractor. It is illegal to work for a pet sitting company as an independent contractor in Massachusetts. Plus we take care of the tax paperwork.
- Compensation: Paid by the hour. Starting rate $12 per hour.
