Employees in this position include those responsible for initial Triage of members, Administrative Intake of members or managing the Admission/discharge information post-notification, and working with hospitals and the Clinical team. Function includes managing Incoming calls, managing requests for services from Providers/members, providing information on available Network services and transferring members as appropriate to Clinical staff. Also manages the Referrals process, processes Incoming and Outgoing Referrals, and Prior Authorizations. This function also includes Intake, Notification and Census roles.




As
a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and
proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense
form SF85P.




Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer Inbound calls in a Call Center and document all calls.
  • Make Outbound calls to enroll members into Wellness programs.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Collaborate with Wellness Coaches and Nurses.
  • Extensive work experience within own function.
  • Work is frequently completed without established procedures.
  • Work independently.
  • May act as a resource for others.
  • May coordinate others' activities.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1+ year of Customer Service experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
  • Experience using a PC and utilizing Microsoft Office in a professional setting.
  • Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86,, NAC form SF86.
  • United State Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Health-related field.
  • Prior Medical and/or Healthcare experience.
  • Previous Military experience.
  • Previous Managed Care experience.
