Primary Responsibilities:



  • Effectively manages and develops the area sales team (FMO broker and ICA channels)

  • Ensures membership goals are met, primarily through the acquisition of new members - but also through effectively and efficiently managing sales related member migration/retention programs in a market

  • Manages acquisition cost, investments and spend by appropriately allocating and managing fixed and variable costs associated with staff, marketing, community programs, etc

  • Proactively develops and executes strategic, comprehensive sales business plan for market to achieve/exceed sales goal

  • Revises plans and strategies as dictated by market changes, sales results and other factors

  • Ensures staff adheres to selling guidelines associated with Medicare regulations, partner expectations and company policies and procedures

  • Establishes relationships with community-based organizations to generate business

  • Provides daily, weekly and monthly reporting

  • Tracks lead activity and divides supplied leads amongst the team

  • Apply CMS regulations and standards

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum high school diploma or GED

  • 3+ years sales team management experience

  • 3+ years sales/business development experience

  • PA State health & life insurance license must be obtained and maintained as required by state law

  • Travel up to 75% of time within assigned sales territory

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Management experience in insurance industry

  • Experience in Medicare products, consumers or managed care
