We currently have the following position available:


Provides generalist support to the facility in all areas of Human Resources. Recruits, sources and selects internal and external candidates. Assists with the Associate Relations function to ensure effective programs are offered for all associates. Administers company policies, procedures and benefit programs and advises all levels of associates on programs by providing counseling and one-on-one assistance. Provides training support to all levels of associates. Proactively develops relationships within the community and with outside sources to identify diverse talent availability during high staffing demands.




Major Areas of Responsibility
Meets with the DC Management team to understand business goals and anticipate future staffing needs. Plans appropriately to ensure DC staffing levels are met. Proactively strategizes with management to recruit new hires based on production requirements. Sources, interviews, and selects external candidates up to Supervisory level. As appropriate, administers internal recruitment and selection process including bargaining unit positions. Proactively develops and implements alternative staffing sources and represents the Company at job fairs.

Supports Associate Relations & Labor Relations by administering and advising all levels of associates on company policies, procedures, union contract administration, and benefit programs. Provides counseling and recommends resolution to associate/supervisory union and nonunion issues. Ensures Open Door, diversity and other values related issues are resolved effectively. Conducts interventions, fact-findings and resolves conflicts as they arise. Counsels and provides referral resources for work-life balance.

Ensures the effective training and development of supervisors and associates on the floor. Conducts new hire orientations as needed. Delivers, monitors, coaches and guides technical and nontechnical training for Distribution Center Supervisors and non-exempt associates. Provides coaching, facilitates discussions and makes recommendations for non-exempt associates' and D/C Supervisors' development needs. Consults with coach trainers, D/C Supervisors and associates on the floor to follow up on operational issues, such as work methods, productivity and new hire follow-up.

Participates in special projects as assigned.



Minimum formal education.



Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience



Minimum job skills required to perform this job.



Knowledge of recruitment strategies and techniques, employment agency methods and operations, developed skill in interviewing techniques
Knowledge of HR/labor laws, proven ability to handle confidential information
Solid verbal and nonverbal communications skills, good interpersonal skills, coaching and counseling skills
Bilingual a plus



Minimum experience required to perform this job.



2-4 years Generalist experience
