The Senior Manager Visual Merchandising at CVS Health will proactively develop industry leading in-store customer experiences that are aligned with CVS Health strategies. Design shopping environments that deliver increased sales and profitability.

• Design, develop, test and implement environments, special fixtures and signage to create a positive shopping experience that increases sales and profits. Proven ability to develop fixtures-conceptualize, design and navigate a complex organization to complete.

• Provide analysis and pay back justification per capital expenditure policies. Construction experience helpful with this portion of the job.

• Analyze customer research to drive designs that create a better shopping experience. Work closely with the Category Managers.

• Establish and maintain visual merchandising display standards. Lighting, fixtures, store layouts.

• Review, approve and help develop all product manufacturers provided fixture and POP materials prior to store roll out. Communicate these changes throughout the organization.

• Enhance existing and develop new communication processes to optimize internal production and field based implementation of fixture related programs.

• Manage and develop the CVS Standards website database of design elements.

• Identify and research new store design trends throughout the retail industry. Presenting to Executives.

• Evaluate, engage and manage third party design firms. Work closely to lead these firms to completion of projects.

• Negotiate, review, analyze and challenge design proposals provided to make solid decisions regarding fixture development. Ability to influence change within outside of your scope of responsibility.

• Research, analyze, implement and leverage new technologies within the fixture and POP industry that will reduce production time, lower capital costs, increase sales and ease execution at store level.

• Analyze and report on all retail product display techniques, fixtures and décor elements. Benchmark best practices and bring new display concepts and ideas to CVS.

• Ensure that our store and fixture merchandising efforts reinforce our advertising, packaging and promotional message to the customer.

• Enhance and create opportunities to increase impulse sales through knowledge of consumer behavior, shopping habits and tracking study information.

• Bachelor Degree required preferably in Retail Design or Marketing.

• 10+ years of retail merchandising experience. Store prototype development, equipment purchasing and environmental design background.

• Ability to develop and manage capital and expense budgets.

• Expert knowledge in the areas of retail design as it relates to customer shopping experience

• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills. Adept at effectively communicating with all levels within the organization.

• Experience in planning, coordinating and leading multiple projects across functional departments and developing, setting and meeting deadlines.

• Proven ability to influence, work and negotiate with fixture supplier and creative consulting companies.

• Experience in identifying and leveraging new design technologies.

• Highly organized, able to lead and collaborate within cross functional teams.

• Possess strong intuitive skills with the ability to analyze current market trends and convert findings into creative and revenue generating courses of action. Required Qualifications:
