CVS/Caremark Specialty Pharmacy, a mail service pharmacy in the Monroeville area, has an opportunity for a Processing Pharmacy Technician. The primary responsibilities of a Processing Technician
to data enter new and refill prescription orders accurately including calculation of doses and assignment of directions and accepting proper insurance payment as well as resolve basic insurance issues. In addition the Processing Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, insurance carriers and internal customers to resolve customer issues. We offer a competitive benefit package including vacation, 10 holidays per year, health/dental/vision insurance, employee discounted stock purchase program, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and 20-30% employee discount at all CVS stores. Required Qualifications:
One year experience as a pharmacy technician OR 1 year specialty mail service experience. -One year computer experience in a Windows based system. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with medical insurance a plus Education:
