Do you like to run, jump, dance and learn right along with a child?Can you sing like nobody's listening and dance like nobody's looking?Can you slide fast and screech loudly as you are racing down a waterslide?We need passionate teachers that have a love of children and teaching and have no hesitation to do what's needed while they laugh in the process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 Semester Early Childhood Education Units (or equivalent qtr. units)
- CPR & First Aide Certification or willing to obtain quickly
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children in a school setting
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Perform all activities with children, I.e. jump, dance, walk, run, etc. for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors
- Depending upon activities and season, may be required to be outdoors for regular and prolonged activities.
- Assume postures in low level positions that best allow physical and visual contact with children
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, sit and kneel as needed
- Must have the ability to respond quickly to ever changing situations as appropriate.
Most of all you must have the urge to have fun and laugh all day.Our children are excited and we want our teachers to be just as excited to be here teaching as they are learning.
Positions available: Full time Tots teacher (9:30- 6:00 M-F), Full time Kindergarten Teacher (9:30- 6:00 M-F) and Temporary Summer teacher June 1st - August 31st.
