About this job




Manage calendar/schedules including travel, vacations, meetings, samples, shipments, etc.

Coordinate large Walmart business activities, charitable events and social activities, i.e., Shareholders Meeting, Cancer Challenge, Boys & Girls Club, etc., along with coordinating gifts, goody bags, etc., for events

Manage sample needs (domestic and international) by filling out appropriate requests and tracking said shipments and by creating appropriate paperwork and shipping direct

Manage administrative duties and paperwork (for example, answering phones, delivering and sorting mail, and completing other documents) for Walmart team

Support marketing, sales and others with Walmart USA, Canada and International shipments.

Review and process all expense reports prior to Director approval.

Cold call stores to check on various business aspects -- is product set up in store, where is it located, can we help them, can we send them racking, etc.

Support other administrative team members by helping complete overflowed assignments

Manage basic Retail Link POS, supply chain and internal financial documents, publishing these key trackers to the group, managing basic business metric trackers for the team

Assist the team with key business review meetings with basic competitive intelligence work (retails, store visits and or samples), basic business POS trackers and basic analysis

Requirements

• Basic Retail Link experience • Five or more years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably but not necessarily in a fast paced, sales environment) • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint and interest and ability to learn company specific programs • Ability to manage mail, paperwork and correspondence neatly and promptly • Ability to support at least 10 people and willingness to support more as needed (11 to 15) • Time management skills (current usage of a specific time management tool preferred) • Comfortable working collaboratively with others • Ability to work on a variety of projects at one time, under constant time pressure, to re-prioritize projects, to communicate information clearly and promptly
