Our client in Camp Hill, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II. The primary responsibilities of this position is to complete maintenance work assignments and supports all manufacturing activities and facility requirements as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include performing PM's, troubleshooting, assessing, recommending corrective actions and completing repairs to Manufacturing and Facility equipment and systems. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Support all equipment and systems to assure that manufacturing continually produces at or above standards & support all in-house project work to assure that projects are completed on budget and within the scheduled time. 2.Proficient with packaging and processing operations and equipment and facility operations and equipment. Respond to pages from packaging and processing operations. 3.Proficient with shop fabrication techniques including bending, breaking, TIG welding, milling machine and lathes. 4.Proficient in carbon, copper and sanitary pipe fabrication and installation. 5.Proficient in high and low voltage electrical and controls piping, wiring and troubleshooting. 6.Knowledgeable of facility utilities to include; the ammonia equipment, compressed air, boiler, fire alarm, chilled water and buildings automation systems and operation with the ability to acknowledge alarms and shutdown the systems in case of emergency. 7.Completes work assignments and documents as necessary to support CMMS preventative maintenance program. TOOLS To perform this job successfully an individual must provide the necessary hand tools and tool box and keep them in a clean and orderly condition. The tool requirement for this position will consist of a more in depth assortment than the grade one technician due to the more varying levels of repair that will be required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. There will be times when overtime will be required consisting of early start times, staying past end of shift, weekends and holidays. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years WORK SCHEDULE - 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm with flexibility to go to 3rd shift during busy season (11:00pm - 7:30am) The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
