Collector 3 Job Description Progressive Career Path: Collector I, Collector II, Collector III, Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager. Consumer Credit Card Collections is seeking candidates who have excellent problem solving and communication skills to work as Collection Representatives.

Collector 1 (6+ mo. customer service required) Collector 2 (1+ year of collections required) Collector 3 (3+ years of collections required). We will consider collections experience based on applicant meeting required qualifications on job postings.

The working schedules include a shift premium pay for the evening hours worked and a generous monthly incentive opportunity!

The working environment is professional, fun, and energized with a casual dress code. Additionally, you will be working in a call center which requires a very structured work day.

As part of this role your calls will be monitored for quality and accuracy.

Duties include:

Uses auto-dial system to initiate customer contact and determine reason for delinquency. Evaluates customers' financial situations and negotiates terms of repayment to bring account current. Maintains quality and accuracy for compliance. May be responsible for skip tracing and/or collateral analysis. Refers more complex issues to higher level Collections staff. *** Position is located in BEAVERTON, OR ***

Training provided! Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM for the first 5 weeks.

In our paid training program, you will learn about State and Federal regulations governing collection practices. Become knowledgeable of how to interpret and document information from various sources within the company's computer systems company products, services, policies and procedures along with operating systems and how to apply this knowledge when communicating with delinquent customers.

5 Weeks of training MON-FRI 8AM-5PM UPON COMPLETION OF TRAINING you must be able to work a 40 hour work week.

SCHEDULES: SUN 7AM-3:30PM and MON-THURS 11AM-8PM (FRI and SAT OFF) -OR- TUES-THURS 11AM-8PM, FRI 8AM-5PM and SAT 6AM-2:30PM (SUN and MON OFF).

3+ years experience in a direct customer contact, service, collections or sales environment. 3+ Years demonstrated experience in Collections. Proficiency using Windows based PC. Must be available to work evening hours and 1 weekend day. Excellent communication skills. Ability to utilize negotiation skills. Reliable/consistent job history Collections experience. Autodialer Experience. Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Exposure to regulations within a financial institution and/or credit policies. Excellent problem solving and negotiations skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast paced environment. Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Ability to multitask.
