HVAC Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, services and repairs all components of complex commercial and industrial, heating and air conditioning systems. Technicians at this level diagnoses and repair centralized air conditioning systems up to 100 tons with multiple zone applications.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Operates, services, maintains and repairs chiller plants tonnage applications up to 100
tons. Diagnoses, test, repairs and replaces complex internal controls and auxiliary
components of a total system.
2. Performs test and balance to air and hydronic systems to determine required adjustments.
3. Tests and sets up burner operations to provide proper fuel and air ratios.
4. Provides guidance to technicians below this level.
5. Can perform all the duties of Technician 2.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Five years working in the trade.
2. CFC Certified Universal
3. Journeyman's License
4. Valid drivers license
5. Ability to set up extension ladder for rooftop
6. Ability to work from stepladder in ceilings
7. Be able to lift by rope 35lbs to roof
8. Must have tools as designated by tool list
9. Must be able to meet Fidelity Engineering Corp. vehicle liability policy requirements and have a current Maryland drivers license
