Our client company located in Chantilly, VA is seeking to hire a Sr. Contracts Manager immediately with their team.

Responsibilities and Duties for this role include:
Handle cradle to grave contract administration for contracts with their Federal Government and Commercial customers.
Administer customer contracts and required changes ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Independently review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements and customer contracts, including prime and subcontract/RFP flow downs in support of task order proposal competitions
Conduct contract kick-off meetings when required between internal functional groups and provide oversight and resolve issues and where necessary
Administer broad range of contract types to include firm fixed price, cost reimbursement, and time and material contracts.
Advise and support Program Managers in monitoring contract performance to ensure cost and technical objectives are met and recommend appropriate solutions to resolve issues.
Review task order solicitations and prepare responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Assist in coordinating, preparing and submission of proposal to include the development and compilation of pricing and cost narrative elements of proposals.
Develop negotiation plans and negotiate prime and sub contracts including terms and conditions, and other contractual provisions in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
Interact with internal functional support personnel to ensure smooth project and program management.
Serve as point of contact and company representative with the Contracting Officer during all phases of a contract.
* Exercise significant use of good judgment within defined procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree (or equivalent related experience) - 5-7 years of directly related experience.
Must have experience administering a broad range of contract types to include firm fixed price, cost reimbursement, and time and material contracts.
Must have experience reviewing task order solicitations and preparing responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Also must have experience in coordinating, preparing and submission of proposal to include the development and compilation of pricing and cost narrative elements of proposals.
Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to perform effectively within aggressive deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and work with minimum supervision and be persistent in follow-through.
Experience utilizing federal procurement practices
Working knowledge of standard contractual terms and regulations, including FAR, DFARs, and ITAR.
Experience with interpreting contract regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
