Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

This position is responsible for defining, documenting and developing reports for Support Services department. The Data Analyst will develop reports based on specifications given; and, will test and verify the information being reported for his or her assigned projects. They will assist in analyzing the data to ensure the quality metrics being measured are accurate and complete. The individual will be responsible for escalating and reporting any issues to management; and may participate in client meetings to provide further details about report results and findings.

This position requires the individual to work cross functionality across the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with Business Users and team members is required.

Reports assigned can be from internal or external sources, and are simple to complex in terms of technical difficulty.

Potential for limited travel (5-10%) Required Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant work experience. May include retail and/or PBM pharmacy technician experience that demonstrates progressive upward growth.

Proficiency in CVS Caremark application RxCLAIM

3+ years of data mining and reporting experience (using standard reporting tools Sequal or Microstrategies)

Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented

Experience leading projects

Proficient in analyzing complex database tables and files and their associated relationships

Investigative skills to validate and analyze requests received and data provided

Able to define issues and provide the required reporting to assist in their resolution

Skilled in use of computer software applications/tools, e. g. Excel, Word

Well organized and ability to effectively prioritize work

Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with internal Business partners, other groups and team members is required Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in defining, developing, and testing reports using Visual Basic, or similar query language. Prior experience with IBM AS/400 Query and RxClaim is a must. RPG experience is a plus.

Knowledge of Excel, Access and AS400 File Transfer Utilities is a must

PBM and/or Healthcare experience required Education:
