About this job
Responsibilities include primary contact to handle incoming and outgoing calls, faxes, and letters from/to physicians and healthcare providers in support of the Enrollment Department. Analyzes clinical criteria guideline responses and provides decisions regarding PA Requests. The Agent uses online databases, online tools and other resources to document customer insurance benefits. Candidate must deliver the highest quality customer service to healthcare providers and internal providers in a high paced dedicated Enrollment department. M-F schedule with time range from 6 am to 6 pm in an 8 hour shift.
Required Qualifications Time management, analytical, and customer service skills are required • Advanced Math skills • Demonstrated attention to detail and detailed tasks • Demonstrated ability to Prioritize / Organize and Multi Task • Good Communication, Verbal and Written Skills • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a productive team • Shows problem solving ability • Results Oriented • Strong organizational skills • PC experience with a working knowledge of the keyboard is required • Ability to work well with time pressures in a constantly changing environment • Flexible work schedule to meet changing department needs. One (1) year of pharmacy or related job experience is highly preferred. Pharmacy technician and/or physician office experience highly desired.
