This is a position in a child care ministry.
Hours: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in which you have been entrusted.
2. Assist children in appropriate behavior using Positive Guidance techniques.
3. Responsible to work to cultivate positive relationships with parents, children and co-workers.
4. Responsible to work with the head teacher of the class for continuity of care.
5. Responsible to maintain a structured educational and stimulating environment according to developmentally appropriate practices.
6. Responsible for documentation of children's injuries and incidents.
7. Responsible for end of day cleanup.
8. Any other duties that may be assigned by the Director, Assistant Director, or Afternoon Supervisor.
