Overview:

The role of the Data Quality Intern is to ensure the success of our sales account executives through the successful execution of data hygiene and management processes. The Data Steward will run diagnostics on the current state of data quality and propose an action plan for cleanup, improving data quality metrics, etc. The Data Steward will work day to day in an Operations function but will also directly support Account Executives by collecting account lists for cleanup and introduction into the database as well as working with third party data vendors to purchase account lists for import.

Responsibilities:

* Research our account data and identify areas needing data quality improvements

* Present research and findings to sales executives via PowerPoint presentations and goto meetings

* Work with third party data vendors to validate account information and update accordingly

* Use salesforce.com reporting and data quality processes to improve account data

* Work with the larger Sales Alignment team on special data quality related projects

* Work on data/policy dispute support tickets submitted by the business

Required Skills/Experience:

* Solid computer skills required (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

* Excellent presentation skills

* Strong customer service focus, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and adhere to priorities with minimal direct supervision

* Previous salesforce.com application experience a major +

* Previous experience with Data Loader and Demand Tools

* Experience supporting sales people
