Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead requirements gathering, service-oriented modeling, analysis and design activities

  • Evaluate business requirements and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications

  • Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization

  • Serve as the liaison between business and systems analysts, developers and project management groups

  • Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution

  • Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development

  • Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes

  • Develop strategies to improve service development life cycle and governance processes

  • Develop detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules

  • Develop and use enterprise service and data models

  • Evaluates business requirements and prepares detailed specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs

  • Formulates, defines and documents the functional system specifications

  • Devises or modifies procedures that solve complex business problems with due consideration for hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating times and the desired results

  • Analyzes and revises existing functional documentation

  • Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success

  • Assists in training junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work
  • Working with HIPPA EDI protocols for transfer mapping and testing
  • Following Agile methodology in a Agile environment 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years of System Analyst or IT development work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Development

  • 3+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) /System Development Life Cycle

  • 3+ years of experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specification

  • Healthcare and claims experience

  • 837 transaction experience
