Full-time food service supervisor needed for Western Subrubs. In this leadership role, you will be hands on as well supervisor assisting in directing the operation in our Nutrition and Food Services Department; this includes the set-up, production, delivery & breakdown of catering and cafe food. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1) Responsibilities include the tray line, dish room and kitchen, pm production, catering
2) Ordering and receiving of product for cafe, as well as storage location maintenance
3) Responsible for scheduling and conducting monthly training in-services with all associates
4) Responsible for the maintenance & sanitation of the tray line, kitchen & dish room areas
according to HACCP guidelines, on assigned shift
5) Responsible for the oversight of hourly staff on assigned shift
6) Checks & regulates temperatures, portion size, quality and appearance of food and nourishment
on assigned shift
7) Responsible for accurate information documented on supervisor reports, supervisor log, and other
facility documents
Requirements:
Ability to read and write English required
Basic cooking knowledge
Current/valid IL Sanitation License required
Front and back of the house dining experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the food service field is required, preferably in a healthcare setting. Associates degree in nutrition, CDM or Culinary degree is preferred.
ServeSafe certification is required. Must have minimal experience with healthcare tray card system.
Must have computer experience to perform this job.
