Produce Associate

Basic Job Function:

Responsible for pulling of dry and wet merchandise, in preparation for delivery to all stores.

Minimum Requirements:

• Carry, Lift and Push/Pull up to 50 lbs of merchandise
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of fruits and vegetables
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Good communication skills

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Ensure the quality of the product before shipping and receiving

• Inspect all dates, labels and quantity of all products being received and shipped
• Label merchandise with proper signage before shipping to stores
• Take inventory or examine produce to identify items to be reordered or replenished
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your manager.
• Fulfill store orders.

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time and possibly in extreme cold conditions
• Lifting loads 50+ lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
