Job Summary The MCIT Training Services team at the University of Michigan Health System is hiring a temporary student summer intern to participate in training Providers (Doctors/Residents/Fellows, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) in the MiChart (Epic) application and related workflows.

Trainers work with the Instructional Designers to deliver classroom training, assist with curriculum development and test training materials, systems enhancements, upgrades and workflow changes.

Responsibilities* Primary Tasks will include:

1. Provide classroom training for Providers (Trainer will be trained by experience Trainers and Instructional Designers).

2. Provide support in MiChart Support Lab (staffed with other experienced Trainers).

3. Assist in the development of Ambulatory (Outpatient) Provider lesson plans under the direction of the Instructional Designer.

4. Other opportunities as appropriate

This position will receive direction from the Training Manager and Provider Training Team Lead.

Required Qualifications* Candidates should have completed at least some of their relevant undergraduate degree program including relevant courses. Graduating/Masters level candidates encouraged to apply. Candidates must be tech savvy with strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Solid writing and communication skills also needed.

Desired Qualifications* Prior experience in educating/training others and/or Clinical/Epic knowledge a plus.
