Home Instead CAREGivers provide a wide range of services to help older adults live safely and comfortably at home for as long as possible - services like meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry assistance, errand service, incidental transportation, and in some cases, personal care. But Home Instead CAREGivers do so much more. They build real, caring relationships with clients and their family members. This level of care improves quality of life for both the client and his or her family members, while helping the older adult maintain independence and dignity. It’s our personal approach that sets us apart from the competition.
We are currently hiring reliable, compassionate individuals who love working with older adults and can meet our strict criteria. To ensure safety of our CAREGivers we ask that you: be able to lift up to 25 pounds and can perform physical tasks with ease. To ensure quality care for clients, we also ask that you possess a positive, stable work history, are able to provide 3 professional and personal references and have the ability and desire to make a difference in the lives of clients and their families. To comply with regulations we ask that you are 19 years or older, have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance and are able to successfully complete a criminal background check, driving record check and pre-employment drug screen.
We offer part-time hours and day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts are available. The starting wage for new CAREGivers varies depending on the level of service provided. Incentives, referrals and bonuses are also available. This is a wonderful opportunity for retirees and students.
