Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and care for residents within established policies and procedures. Includes administering medication, light housekeeping, engaging residents in activities, and assistance with daily living and hygiene skills.
* Facilitate residents' involvement in physical, recreational, social, educational, vocational, and health care by transporting / escorting to appointments and engaging in community outings.
* Provide guidance, keep engaged in activities, interact positively, and support unique interests.
* Be reliable, attend monthly training and staff meetings.
* Provide input to the team and other professionals with regard to the implementation and/or modification of the residents' behavior support plan.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience OR education in working with individuals with Autism, developmental disabilities, and/or mental health disorders OR
* Currently pursuing a degree in social work, sociology, education, special education, psychology, counseling and guidance, criminal justice, nursing, certified nursing assistant, or other health related field.
* Must be 21, pass a thorough Caregiver Background Check, and hold a current driver's license.
We are seeking staff that is strength-based, solution-focused, and team-oriented. They must be energetic, responsible, self-directed, and creative.
Part-time positions available now. Shifts available: overnight, evenings, weekdays 6-9am, every other weekend. Starting hourly wage = $11.50/hr; sleeping shifts = $7.25/hr. Ideal for students.
