Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy the Pharmacist provides drug information and assists physicians and nursing staff in providing appropriate drug therapy for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Compounds, prepares, mixes manufactures and dispenses medicines and preparations. Oversees medications prepared by pharmacy technicians. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to perform the function of the pharmacy in charge.
Requirements:
Current CA Pharmacist license required.
Hospital experience preferred.
