Groove Entertainment Technologies is the largest provider of DIRECTV to hospitality customers in the country. We service hotels and institutions from coast to coast from our office located in SLC.
Responsibilities
Position Overview
A Groove Tier 1 Field Technician is responsible for performing technical installation work for DIRECTV installs, assisting Lead Technicians, performing service calls, performing trouble calls, and any additional technical service or support as needed. Candidates can expect to travel outside of the Salt Lake City area much of the time, with all appropriate travel expenses being paid by the company. Due to the use of company vehicles, candidates must have a clean driving record, and submit to pre-employment and random drug screening.

Qualifications
Experience preferred, but we are willing to train, and training will be paid.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
* Performing or assisting in Installation work for Lodging and Commercial DIRECTV installs
* Make coax jumpers
* Install DIRECTV receivers
* Point and install DIRECTV dish
* Understand SWM systems
* Traveling where needed to perform installation work
* Performing or assisting in Service Calls
* Performing or assisting in Trouble Calls
* Ability to perform basic trouble shooting
* In house over the phone technical support overflow
* Alternate weeks of taking the company 24/7 after hours support phone line
* Adhere to company policies as outlined in the company handbook
* Lift up to 200lbs.
* Any other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.
