Frito-Lay, a key business unit within PepsiCo, is a market leader in the snack food industry. We are the makers of some of America's favorite snack foods including, FRITOS, LAY'S, DORITOS, CHEETOS, AND TOSTITOS.
This position will support the West Valley manufacturing facility. It requires ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively with employees at the site and across the PacNW region. Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be able to work independently and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with administration of job postings, tracking and flow log
Coordination of applicant selection process and on-boarding
Pre-employment administrative process and recordkeeping
Administration and maintenance of all new hire information files
Benefits administration including but not limited to coordination and presentation during Annual Open Enrollment and counsel to employees to resolve benefit issues as needed
Assist with Affirmative Action compliance requirements and recordkeeping
Assist employees with questions and problem resolution
Administer new hire, job promotion/transfers and pay changes into system and related reports
FMLA, Extended Medical Leave, Worker's Compensation and Return to Work administration and support
Human Resources process support as needed
Must be able to travel for meetings and training (less than 10%)
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
College Education and Previous HR experience is preferred
3-5 years administrative experience is preferred
Strong knowledge of HR law including FMLA policy
Strong human resources and HRIS/systems background with ability to navigate proficiency through various human resources data systems, including mainframe applications, SAP and database applications
Computer skills including expert competency in Excel and proficiency with Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
Appropriate handling of confidential information
Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical skills, oral/written communication, problem solving, basic research and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma/GED equivalent
Authorized to work in United States on a permanent basis
Must pass a drug screen and background investigation
