Job Description

Job Summary:

Sells products, services, solutions to new and/or existing customers directly or through sales channels and establishes and/or maintains customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

* Strategically manage customer relationships for Siemens Internal Businesses within the Commercial Finance (COF) Group

* Execute assigned sales market plans

* Required to work on transaction sizes averaging from $50K to $3MM

* Collaborate with internal business partners (e.g. Risk, Legal, Ops, etc) to ensure transactions are completed correctly and funded.

* Develop, grow and manage pipeline and backlog of business

* Forecast accurately on a monthly basis

* Meet or exceed annual budgeted volume, EVA, margin, and profitability objectives associated with the assigned territory

* Assist in training and coaching of Siemens Internal business field sales reps

* Originate, structure and close transactions to meet unique customer requirements

* Must have the ability to structure both tax exempt and commercial transactions

* Initiate, establish and maintain relationships with all levels within end user customers (Siemens Internal Businesses or 3rd party)

* Develop relationship with all Siemens Internal Businesses sales managers and Sales teams within assigned territory.

* Develop relationships with all Siemens Internal Businesses sales managers and their teams and close transactions with multiple SOC platforms.

* Speak and present at sales and industry events.

* Strategic seller, experience at calling into the C levels within customer organizations

Qualifications (include education):

Education

* BS/BA in related discipline.

Experience

* 5+ years experience selling finance/leasing in the transportation market with established contacts within the preeminent industry operators.

* Expertise and experience in developing sales presentations and proposal and contract negotiation and strategies

* Documented track record of sales success

* Tax exempt knowledge

Skills

* Very strong MS Office skills required.

* High energy team player

* Solid analytical capabilities, evaluating financial and business implications

* Ability to build and maintain executive relationships.

* Experienced in customer financial analysis.

* Inclusive Team Member with excellent written and oral communication skills

* Strategic vision including appreciation of customer strategy and its implications

* Professional communications, relationship building and grounded in strong sales fundamentals

* Strong knowledge of SFS internal transaction processing systems and pricing tools (FC8, Asset Management, etc)

* Strong ability to focus on high opportunity areas and drive customer buy-in that is in alignment with SFS overall goals and objectives.

* Demonstrable execution abilities that connect to corporate objectives.
