Qualifications:

Customer Information and Risk Management (CIRM) Team is seeking a credit risk consultant in Portfolio Analytics and Account Management. CIRM supports Regional Business Banking and SBA (Small Business Administration) lending and is responsible for underwriting and portfolio analysis, modeling, Basel, and loss forecasting. The team pioneered credit scoring in small business lending and has been focusing on innovations in credit risk management in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) world.

Primary job duties of Account Management Strategy and Portfolio Analysis include:

Responsible for supporting Business Banking profit growth by conducting analytics to enhance asset and revenue growth, credit loss optimization, and operational efficiency Collaborate with other business partners to identify, structure and analyze business problems Perform complex analysis and/or modeling; provide analytical support on new credit origination and existing portfolio management Segment and monitor various credit products Detect trends based on vintages, risk score bands, commitment limits, etc. and make recommendations to management based on those trends Produce performance monitoring and benchmarks regarding growth, delinquency, losses, recovery and overall profitability Coordinate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management Review and analyze current credit policies and recommend modifications for improvement 4+ years risk experience. 4+ years credit risk management experience Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to think creatively and innovate Ability to collaborate with teams in different functions Must be flexible and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel Attention to Detail Bachelor degree in Economics, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields

Master degree in Economics, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields Strong leadership and project management skills Business Banking experience Working knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business Bureau Working knowledge of Moody's Risk Analyst (MRA) and business financials CA-SF-Financial District: 525 Market St - San Francisco, CA
