Automotive Machine Shop Trainee - Full-time

We are seeking a hard-working Machinist Trainee to join our growing team of auto parts professionals.  If you are an independent self-starter who is looking for an opportunity to join a market leading organization, the NAPA Machinist Trainee position is the ideal job for you!

Responsibilities

As NAPA Machinist Trainee, your primary function is to support the machinists while learning basic machine shop functions:

Primary responsibilities will be to prep items for machinists, keep the shop clean an organized and answer the phones.  The candidate will learn how to:

• Turn rotors
• Grind flywheels
• Presswork
• Answer phones
• Work the counter

Qualifications

The qualified Machinist candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
• Strength to lift 60 lbs of merchandise
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
