Primary Responsibilities:


  • Prepare opening balance sheets for newly acquired entities (both domestic and international) reflecting purchase accounting adjustments

  • Coordinate and lead this process with the collaboration of the applicable business segment(s) and other Corporate functions

  • Support the monthly close process by preparing daily close updates (actuals versus budget/forecast), managing the late entry process and assisting in the resolution of close related issues

  • Lead the process for compiling CFO support for the quarterly earnings release preparation materials

  • Address and research foreign currency accounting questions raised throughout the organization

  • Lead and provide work direction pertaining to various Corporate Accounting activities as requested

  • Support accounting related projects as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • 5+ years of public accounting experience

  • CPA (active or inactive status)

  • Ability to comprehend and apply generally accepted accounting principles, research and analyze accounting related issues. 

  • Strong leadership skills with prior supervisory experience.

  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships across the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with IFRS

  • Month end close including journal entry preparation and review

  • Peoplesoft experience

  • Healthcare industry experience
